Jeans Beast has been initiated in 2010 with a strong focus on drone, noise, synths, cassette loops and filed recordings. Since then, over 50 releases were published, mostly in small editions on cassettes, vinyl and cd-rs. Various live performances, collaborations, a radio show, DJ-sets and exhibitions occured over the years. Jeans Beast is the moniker of Julian Flemming, co-founder of experimental label Econore, based in Mönchengladbach, Germany.

Philomena Lauprecht is an interdisciplinary artist who works within the fields of music and fine arts. For her artistic research, she uses motifs from mythology and icons of popular culture to reflect its impact
on ritual practices of everyday life and the question of a collective consciousness.
As a singer and guitarist, she plays in the Hamburg based experimental/art-pop Band Die Maßnahme.
